Just had a call from my Mobile Co. Apparently I'm entitled to an upgrade on my 'phone. Whooopppeee!!
Hold on a minute...
I will have to have a new number, I'm told.
Why!?
The only way you can keep your current number is if you go pay-as-you-go.
Why!?
Because it's the only way.
Why!?
We will give you a lovely brand new number...
But nobody will know it.
So you make your current mobile payg.
Why!?
Then you keep the number.
But then I have to keep TWO mobiles (it's bad enough having one!)
But then you'll have a new number AND a lovely new 'phone.
WHAT'S THE POINT OF THAT?
So you can keep your current number.
I give up!!
