What a shocker!
& what's worse is the rubbish spouted by the so-called pundits.
In what way is this a good result for England? Correct me if I'm wrong but you have to win games to go thru'.
Steve Mc is as bad as the gonk he supported for years.
Poor! Poor! Poor!
& then he brings on Dowling!
& now he's worried!
I feel sorry for the fans who paid a fortune to go and watch this rubbish. It was humiliating.................cassie
PS..is he the worst manager England have had?

turniphead taylor was the worst manager during my life. we cant count howard "mr excitement" wilkinson, because he was just caretaker manager.

Turniphead was funny though; at least you could laugh at him. McL is just nothing. Like After Eights without the mint cream........cassie

I don't know why the FA didn't go for O'Neill when they had the opportunity. In some ways I respect McClaren. He had the guts to drop the disgustingly over rated Beckham (let's face it all he can do better than anyone else is take a free kick, did you ever see him beating defenders down the right and getting crosses in like Lennon). The biggest problem McClaren has is that he's too scared to drop Lampard. Gerrard is a far superior player and always plays better in the middle where he can orchestrate good moves.

Yes McClaren has got to take some of the blame but so too have the players who just seem dis-interested. Why is it that individually and for their clubs these players are excellent, yet put them in an England shirt and they look like a pub team?
