  • Some Days Are Just Crappier Than Others...

    because...
it's first day back after bank holiday,
I forgot to switch my alarms on so slept in,
too much work, not enough staff to do it cos its school holidays,
had to stay at work longer than I wanted to,
bugger all on TV to veg out to,
haven't got a clue how to set up home network so I don't have to run up and down stairs to share files,
which makes laptop bloody useless (unless I play solitaire all night),
AND THE WEATHER IS BLOODY AWFUL!!

Not that I want to moan or anything..................cassie

  • What To Do...

Well, done the Bank Holiday thing and stayed in bed until late; it was after 10am when I roused myself from my bed.

Had a lazy breakfast of SpecialK with banana sliced on it.

    Ironed bro's shirts.

Had lunch of a ham salad sandwich.

    Now I'm bored! It's p*ssing down!

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO NOW!!

    All suggestions welcome!!

  • Makes My Blood Boil...

I am sick to death of turning on the TV to see those bloody McCann's.

Don't get me wrong, it's tragic that Madeleine is missing; what she has endured no one will know, including her parents, but to watch them every day is beyond a joke! It's sick! Who in their right minds, in this day and age, leave children alone? Bearing in mind, they were also in a strange country, away from family and friends.

Isn't it time that the media asked the question "What were you thinking of, leaving 18 month old twins in the care of a three year old?" & why hasn't it been pointed out to them that the place they were eating WASN'T in view of the apartment at all! For all anyone knows, she could have woken up and gone looking for them! & it wasn't early evening, it was after 10pm at night. Why didn't they eat earlier in the evening and take the children with them? & why didn't they use the babysitting service?

Yes, I know they have said they will live with the guilt forever and at some point in the future, they will also have to explain to their other children why they left them alone to go out for the evening. I bet they won't be as forgiving as the media.

If it had been a young, single mother who had left her child there would have been an outcry. She would have been pilloried by everyone and put on the first flight home, no doubt to be interviewed by Police. They left three children under age 5 but instead of Social Services being on the first 'plane out there to take the other children into care, they remain unchallenged, in the sunshine, in a very nice villa, being feted by the media!

With each passing day, the chances of Maddy being found, reduce. She will no longer look like 'Maddy.' Highlighting the unusualness of her eye has put her at even more risk.

Such a beautiful child deserved to have better, more caring parents.
