I agree - it is quite probable that Maddie is dead and has been since soon after she disappeared. It seems to me that they crave publicity not so much for their daughter but for themselves. I just find them unbelievably insensitive. It's like they're wired differently; they left three children under the age of 4 alone in a strange place.
